In the pursuit of completing our obedience, Jesus is our greatest example. We need to be extra careful for our life and for our doctrine. We need to understand the grace of God and never fall into bondage to the Old Covenant way of life. We need to also make sure that we are not using our freedom in Christ to give license to the flesh.

Perfecting holiness is a theme that the Christians of the New Testament held, i.e. (2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 John 3:3...etc). This teaching is to encourage the believer to follow the same theme in his or her personal life for the glory of God.
